ty, the hockey buff, showing off his hot hockey skills...if my memory does not fail me, i believe that ty spent more time with his bum on the ice than he did with his feet on the ice!!!

for as much as ty spent on the ice, nate spent as much time gripping the side holding himself up...but i do say that he showed his manliness when he saved claudia from falling. unfortunately i could not find the picture that showed the save

allison and jessie making their rounds...with more grace and success than nate and ty

nate and ty loved coming to our room...laying on the beds and cuddling with allison's pooh bear. this would have to be my second favorite college photo of ty. the first being falling on the ice (note the one above)

SPRING WEEKEND!!! featuring june-bug, kristin from team WONDERS!!!
i miss june-bug!!!

spring weekend break with kevin

a walk in the park

play time in the park

a break from stress playing TABOO! with our favorite bunch: nate claudia, tyler and andy. wasn't this the night we headed into lincoln and the red wagon began its rage of break downs?...car died on the intersate off-ramp...a bunch of timothy guys pushed it as allison and i tried steering it....stranded at a truck-stop in lincoln until about 4:00 in the morning...nobody could get the hood to open...dad and galen drove out to get it started and they had trouble getting the hood to pop...and it contined to die every time i drove it and nate and tyler took pride in teasing me about having to carry a "katie kit" in their car so they would be ready to rescue me when i drove off in the car...and then in july as my family and i were trucking down the same interstate leaving the omaha zoo, the hood flew open!!!!
to this day, i REFUSE to drive or purchase any vehicle in any shade of red!!!

a sad farewell to nate, ty and claudia...thank GOD not all farewells are forever!!! if it weren't for you guys, i probably never would have moved out here. i love you (the smith's) to pieces!!!

hicks and hockey. jessie andy and jenny

So, Katie, all those years ago when you were in college and I would ask you what you did over the weekend and you would say, study, or Oh, not much, it was kind of boring, you weren't being exactly truthful??????And oh, how sorry I would feel for you being homesick and with nothing to do, that I would just have a miserable weekend, thinking of you sitting there in Seward, studying or being lonesome and you were having such a good time?????Love, Mom
Poor Katie was always "bored" and "studying" in college. It was so sad to see she had so few friends... ;)
I love the flashback pictures. It was so much fun to reminesce (sp?)over some fun times.
Still no computer, but I'm using the Smith's computer to update. They are nice.
