Please, please, please pray for God's grace and mercy on our city! Praise to Him for the thousands of fire fighters and resources that are being sent to Colorado Springs to fight this spreading fire! Prayers for protection and safety for our fire fighters and the 32,00+ evacuees and displaced families. Pray that His will be done and that we can see His almighty hand at work for the good in this natural disaster.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heaves will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. II Peter 3:10
