Lord God,
You have called your servants to ventures which we cannot see the ending, by paths as yet untrodden, through perils unknown. Give us faith to go out with good courage, not knowing where we go, but only that your hand is leading us and your love supporting us. Through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Oh, katie how I love you, do you know that I was only 19 when i gave birth to you. I think somewhere you or I have misplaced 10 years. What i could do with 10 misplaced years. Oh the books i could read, the cross-stitch I could do, the more children to rear, the more diapers to change, the more times to read the Bible and reflect on its meaning, the more music to enjoy, the more grandchildren to spoil, oh what i could do with 10 misplaced years, what a wonderful birthday gift, if only if were true.
